Kohli has outperformed his teammates in the T20I format, playing in a league of his own. The 35-year-old holds the record for scoring the most runs in a single T20 World Cup – 319 runs in 2014. Moreover, Kohli is also the only batter to score the most runs in a T20 World Cup edition on two occasions.
Kohli has represented in five T20 World Cups in the past – 2012, 2014, 2016, 2021, and 2022. Hoping to be sixth-time lucky, he would aim to walk away with the trophy on June 29.
