Vikash Singh (Athletics): Olympics, Career and Biography

Vikash Singh, one of India’s prominent race walkers, is set to represent the nation at the upcoming Paris Olympics. The Kerala-born athlete earned his qualification for the mega event during the Asian Championships in May last year. Vikash achieved an impressive time of 1:20:05 in the open category of the 20km walk race at this continental competition.

During this event, Vikash shared the podium with fellow Indian athlete Paramjeet Singh Bisht, who finished third with a time of 1:20:08. The qualifying mark for the Paris Olympics was 1:20:10. This outstanding achievement also secured Vikash a spot in the World Athletics Championships, held in Budapest in August 2023.
