What a player Rohit Sharma has been for India! The Indian skipper currently is the best opener in ODI cricket by a distance. The Hitman once again showcased his class in India’s game against Afghanistan by smashing another century. It was his 7th century in the ICC ODI World Cup and he also became the batter with the most centuries in the World Cups.
He broke the record of the great Sachin Tendulkar, who had six World Cup centuries against his name. In the process, he also scored the fastest century by an Indian batter in the World Cups as he reached the three-figure mark in just 63 deliveries.
