Born to Sajjan Jindal and Sangita Jindal, parth is the youngest son of Jindal Group’s owner. He joined JSW group in 2012 as an economic analyst. Jindal holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School. He is an alumnus of Cathedral and John Connon School from Mumbai and Sevenoaks School in England.
He is also the director of JSW USA and JSW Sports.
Biography
Parth featured in GQ’s 50 most influential Indians in 2018 and felicitated by the Vice-President of India in the same year at the Jashn E Youngistan awards. He was also awarded the Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar Award on behalf of JSW Sport in October 2018.
Career
Jindal was made the managing director of JSW Cement in June 2014. Jindal loves sports, and owning an IPL team was always on his top list. To no surprise, Parth Jindal got the opportunity to get involved in the game. In 2018, he was appointed as the chairman of the IPL team, as JSW Sports acquired a 50% stake in the IPL’s Delhi team franchise, Delhi Capitals.
Parth also founded a 42-acre sports institute (IIS) recognized by The Sports Authority of India as a Khelo India accredited development center for Boxing and Wrestling.
