Career

Nikhat was introduced to boxing by her father and was trained by him for several years. However, 2009 proved to be a turning point of her life when she was introduced into Sports Authority of India and was trained by IV Rao, a Dronacharya awardee.

She worked hard and had the first taste of success in 2010 when she was crowned the golden best boxer in Erode Nationals. Currently, Zareen has been appointed as the staff officer in the Bank of India, zonal office at AC Guards, Hyderabad.
