In the 2019 World Cup, Mohammed Shami just played four games, but managed to secure 14 wickets. He did that with a staggering strike rate of 15 and an average of just 13.78. He actually revived his white-ball career with this performance and he ended the tournament as the best bowler with strike rate and average.
In total, Shami has 171 wickets in 94 ODI games he has played. He has bowled impressively with an average of just over 25 and with an economy of 5.57, which is fantastic as well.
In his last 10 ODI games, he has picked up 18 wickets, which is pretty decent and that makes him a very fierce bowler and dangerous as well against the strong oppositions.
