Mayank Yadav, the spectacular bowler from Delhi, stands 6 feet 1 inch tall. Born on June 17, 2002, he has quickly been the focus of the current IPL season. In his second game against RCB, he continued to show off his blazing pace. He took his first wicket, Glenn Maxwell, with a delivery recorded at 153.7 kph. Mayank did not stop there, he took his second wicket, Cameron Green, with a gem at 146.2 kph. He got Patidar, who looked to be settling in, with a delivery of about 150 kph. During his scorching spell, he reached a speed of 156.7 kph, the fastest ball recorded in IPL 2024, breaking his previous record of 155.8 kph from the first game.

Mayank, a product of Delhi’s famous Sonnet Club, was coached under the guidance of the late Tarak Sinha, who had previously worked with stars like Shikhar Dhawan, Ashish Nehra, and Anjum Chopra.
