Leigh Kasperek is a former Scottish cricket player who used to play for New Zealand cricket team at the international level. Initially, she used to play for the Scottish national side, but eventually, in order to play at a higher level, she moved to play for New Zealand. Leigh was born in Edinburgh and made her senior national debut at the age of 15 when she played for Scottland for the first time against English county in the 2007 County Challenge Cup.

Her international debut came later in the year 2007 when she showed up against Ireland and the Netherlands at the European Championship.[3] Early in 2008, Kasperek was chosen in Scotland’s squad for the 2008 World Cup Qualifier in South Africa.
The next few years Kasperek progressed her performance as an all-rounder. Her one of the outstanding performance came against Hampshire in the 2009 edition of the County Championship, when she took 3/2 from six overs to help bowl the side out for 76.
During the 2010 County Championship season, Kasperek scored 218 keeps running from her ten matches, behind just Kathryn White for Scotland.[7] Her best execution was an innings of 68 against Hampshire, which was her lone 50 years.
After three seasons in the New Zealand household rivalry, Kasperek met the ICC capabilities for speaking to the national group, in spite of the fact that that had not been a particular objective of hers when she previously moved there. In May 2015, she was out of the blue named in the squad for the 2015 voyage through India.
Kasperek proceeded to play in each game on the visit, which contained five One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International matches. On introduction in the first ODI, she took 3/39 from 10 overs. Later in 2015, against the visiting Sri Lankans, Kasperek took 4/27, her lady ODI four-wicket pull.
