In his debut First Class game against Vidarbha, Karan was dismissed for a score of 2 in the first innings but scored a gritty 26 in the second innings to take his team’s tally to 280/6 to draw the outing. As far as his List A onslaughts are concerned, the middle-order batter had a mediocre run in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2020-21, as he could amass only 228 runs across 8 innings while averaging 28.12. He churned out almost similar numbers during the 2021-22 edition of the tournament, but it’s his heroics in the T20s which have garnered him a terrific reputation in the cricketing circles.
