Jasprit Bumrah yorker: The game was all but gone and India were staring at a whitewash but India have been blessed with the potential greatest bowler of all time in Jasprit Bumrah who turned the game on his head with Glenn Maxwell’s wicket.
Australia needed run a ball and Virat Kohli threw the ball to his spearhead in Jasprit Bumrah and he responded in supreme swag which helped India to avoid an embarrassing whitewash.
Typical Jasprit Bumrah yorker
Glenn Maxwell who is in red-hot form looked set to take his team home with an unbelievable crisis innings until Jasprit Bumrah broke his defence in his second last over and broke the game wide open which India cashed in big time.
Australia needed just 39 runs from their last 6 overs with 4 wickets remaining. India were in a kind of a deadlock as Virat Kohli had just 2 overs of Jasprit Bumrah but Indian skipper took the right decision to bowl an over of Jasprit Bumrah without holding him late and the end result couldn’t have been better. Glenn Maxwell tried to make room and hit is through covers but Jasprit Bumrah’s yorker was too good for Glenn Maxwell as he was dismissed for a well made 38 ball 59 run knock.

Dream 6th wicket partnership for India
India have always relied upon their top 3 to score big runs in the last 6 years or so. One of the main reasons why India’s middle order remained uncooked to this point in time. This series was an eye-opener as India’s lower middle order exposed to tricky situations throughout the 3 match series and the #5, #6 and #7 batsmen have all responded brilliantly.
India were in all sorts of trouble batting first in this game as they were 152 for the loss of 5 wickets at the end of 32 overs. That’s when Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja joined hands together to stitch a 150 run partnership and they both remained unbeaten at the end of 50 overs. Their partnership proved to be a match-winning partnership in the end.
