Career

The Irish Cricketer, Gareth Delany set his first foot in the field of domestic cricket in the year 2017 when he represented Leinster Lightning in the Inter Provincial Trophy. Under this tournament he made his first-class debut on 5 June 2017 and ListA debut on 10 September 2017.

Delany’s International Career took momentum in the year 2019 when he found a place in the Ireland Wolves for a series against Scotland A cricket Team. Month later he even batted in a series against Zimbabwe. July 2019, proved to be a milestone in his life for on this day he made his International Twenty 20 debut for Ireland.

In his journey till date, Gareth has played a number of other tournaments like 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier, ODI against West Indies, Odi against England cricket team and 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
