Bio Bubble Breach- During the Big Bash League 2020, Dan Lawrence was found guilty of socializing in public before the match between Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder. The event happened on 12 December 2020. The officials allowed him to continue the next match onwards even though it was done in a distinct way. He had to maintain social distance from other players including match officials. Dan was also given a different dressing room for the match as he was not allowed to mingle with other teammates. The team officials were very relieved that Dan was not banned as he formed an integral part of the batting line up for the team. Brisbane Heat was imposed a fine of 50000 A$ and 20000 A$ suspended for the remainder season.
