Brydon Carse is an English professional cricketer. He was born on 31 July 1995 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. One of his grandparents is English, and his father is Zimbabwean cricketer James Alexander Carse, who played for Northamptonshire. Due to his British ancestry, he is eligible to play in the English Domestic circuit. The right-arm fast bowler plays for the Durham County Cricket Club.

Carse burst onto the scene in 2016 and signed a development contract with Durham. He is slightly injury-prone and missed large parts of the 2017 and 2018 seasons. After completing his England residency qualification, the 25-year-old made his List-A debut on 17 April 2019 in the Royal London One-Day Cup. He had a stellar showing in the 2019 season, where he picked up 35 first-class wickets at an excellent average.

In May 2020, he was named in a 55-member squad who were asked to train to keep the international fixtures and the Covid scenario in mind. He earned his debut cap on 8 July 2021 in an ODI against Pakistan held in Cardiff. Following the isolation of the first-choice squad, a second-string England team led by Ben Stokes thrashed the Asian side by 9 wickets.
