Bismah Maroof

Pakistani Cricketer, Bismah Maroof, is an international cricketer and a captain of Pakistan National Women’s Cricket Team. She started her carrier in the team at the age of 15. She took over from Sana Mir as captain of the T20 squad after the Women’s World T20 in 2016. She was named in the 2009 Women’s Cricket World Cup in Australia. At the 2014 Asian Games in South Korea, she was appointed vice-captain of the Pakistan squad who won a second consecutive gold medal against Bangladesh.

On 11 October 2017, ahead of the New Zealand series in the UAE, Bismah was chosen as captain of the Pakistan women’s cricket squad. She was named in Pakistan’s squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indies in October 2018.
