In his debut match in List A during the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2020-21, Arshad scored a crucial 20 off 18 deliveries by striking 3 fours to take his team’s tally to 225. In the second inning, the pacer picked 1/40 and proved to be a vital cog in Madhya Pradesh’s 14-run triumph over Tamil Nadu which had the likes of Dinesh Karthik, Baba Indrajith, Baba Aparajith and R Sai Kishore. In his second outing, which was against Andhra, Arshad whacked 2 sixes to take his tally to 20 off 14 deliveries and followed with match-winning figures of 1/40 to seal a 98-run win. In his third List A game, Arshad didn’t get a chance to bat as his team managed to post 402 runs on board. However, he picked the last wicket of Siddarth Kaul to hand a 105-run drubbing to Punjab.
