Abhishek Varma Born on 1 August 1989 in Panipat, Abhishek Verma is an Indian shooter who won a gold medal in the Men’s 10-metre air pistol in 2019 Beijing. He also won a bronze medal in Men’s 10-metre air pistol at 2018 Jakarta Palembang.
Abhishek holds a B-Tech in computer science and was pursuing a degree in law when he took up shooting for “fun”. It has been widely reported that he took up the sport in 2015, but it was 2014 when he first ventured into the shooting range.
