Mignon du Preez is a South African cricketer who started playing at the age of 4. Her brother was playing in a Mini Cricket tournament and father was the coach of his brother’s Under-7 team. The right-handed batsman made her debut for the South Africa national women’s cricket team in January 2007 when she was seventeen. Du Preez was women’s team captain in all 3 forms of cricket Test, ODI and Twenty20 from 2007 to 2018. She was appointed to the 2018–19 Women’s Big Bash League season in the Melbourne Stars team in November 2018.
