Liton Das is a right-hand batsman, who plays professional cricket for the Bangladeshi National cricket team. He has represented Bangladesh in all the three formats of the game. His role in the team is as an opening batsman who does wicket-keeping as well.

Liton Das made his first-class debut for Rangpur against Dhaka Division in October 2011. Although his first season wasn’t proved to be productive for him but he made his comeback in the second season registering a ton and a half-century. While playing for Rangpur Division in the 2014-15 National Cricket League, he registered five centuries and finished the seven-match season with 1,024 runs at an average of 85.33 and his team won the championship.
His career turning point came after his performance in the 2014 U-19 World Cup in Abu Dhabi, where he made 239 in just four innings.
Liton made his first-class debut in June 2015 against India and then in the same month he debuted in ODI against India whereas his T20I debut was against South Africa in July 2015.
In Jan 2017 Bangladesh Cricket League, he scored his maiden double-century playing the first-class cricket for East Zone. Impressed with his performance the selectors recalled him to Bangladesh’s Test squad for their one-off match against India in 2017.
In 2019, he made his World Cup debut against West Indies where he scored a smashing 94* not out and also an unbeaten partnership of 189 run with Shakib Al-Hasan and registered a seven-wicket victory.

- He was the leading run-scorer in the 2017-2018Â Bangladesh Cricket League. He made 779 runs in six matches which also included its 274 runs in one inning.
