Heather Knight is a captain of the England Women’s Cricket Team. She is a right-arm off-break bowler who had big shoes to fill after the retirement of former captain Charlotte Edwards. She had been Edwards’ vice-captain since 2014 and also had captaincy experience in county cricket and Hobart Hurricanes in the WBBL.
The right-handed batsman has played for the Diamonds, the Rubies and England Academy Women in addition to the England Women’s team. Heather started playing when she was 6 years old with elder brother. She debuted in test at the age of 19 years and has never looked back since then. She studied Biomedical Sciences at Cardiff University.
