WWE Raw Monday Night Raw Results: After not receiving the much expected massive reception at the WrestleMania 37, the WWE is now trying to create the hype for the next biggest event that is the WrestleMania Backlash scheduled on May 16. During this week’s Monday Night Raw, there were massive tensions between the Backlash challengers, Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman and WWE champion Bobby Lashley that took the centerstage. Drew McIntyre lays out Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman

In the Main Event of Monday Night Raw, WWE Champion Bobby Lashley was up against Braun Strowman and both the superstars were involved in an incredible fight. At one instance, Strowman tried his special running power slam move before Lashley made his way out of the muscle hold. Few minutes later into the match, Drew McIntyre made his way to the ring which forced Strowman to confront him forcing Lashley to attack his opponent from behind.

McIntyre continued to unleash hard words at Strowman from the commentary panel leading to Lashley taking advantage of the distraction and winning the match by defeating Strowman. Eventually, the show ended with McIntyre entering the ring and laying out both Lashley and Strowman with Claymores. At the WrestleMania Backlash, a Triple Threat Match will take place for the WWE Championship between McIntyre, Lashley and Strowman.

Raw Tag Team Champions Omos and AJ Styles defeated The New Day

The duo of AJ Styles and Omos managed to retain their WWE Raw Tag Team Championship by defeating The New Day in a nerve-wracking contest. AJ Styles connected with his special Phenomenal Forearm off Omos’ shoulder on The New Day member Xavier Woods for the pinfall.

Charlotte Flair defeats Dana Brooke via submission

In the Women’s fight, Charlotte Flair knocked out Dana Brooke via submission with the Figure-Eight. After this match, Many Rose allegedly attacked Flair which prompted Sonya Deville to come out. However, Deville later agreed to add Charlotte Flair to the Raw Women’s Championship match at the WrestleMania Backlash.

Sheamus defeated Mansoor

Due to Humberto Carrillo’s distraction, Sheamus was able to defeat Mansoor via disqualification. Earlier Sheamus hit Carrillo during a backstage interview and told him that now he would be in no condition to answer the open challenge in the later evening. Sheamus later issued a challenge to Mansoor for a fight while signing his RAW contract and the Brogue Kick specialist was already winning the match before Carrillo ran in for the disqualification. Despite Carrillo’s attack, Sheamus successfully managed to end the match by hitting both the wrestlers with Brogue Kicks.

Damian Priest defeated John Morrison

On the WWE Monday Night Raw, Damien Priest squashed John Morrison via three-pin count after executing his famous Hit the Lights move. Incidentally, The Miz was seen trying to help Morrison by interfering however, he ended up increasing the troubles for him as the referee even missed Morrison small package during the match.

Lucha House Party thrashed Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin

The Lucha House Party defeated Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin via pinfall. It was Gran Metalik interruption during the match where he hit Benjamin with the rope-walk elbow. Post the match, Alexander was seen exchanging hard words with Benjamin allegedly saying that he was the reason they were shot down from The Hurt Business.

Angel Garza defeated Drew Gulak

In an excellent battle, Drew Gulak was beaten by Angel Garza through the pinfall count. Garza hit Gulak with the special Wing Clipper for the win.

Randy Orton & Riddle defeated Elias & Jaxson Ryker

The pair of Randy Orton and Riddle thrashed Elias and Jaxson Ryker by pinfall for the victory. Riddle hit Elias with a Floating Bro for the three-count.

Raw Women’s Tag Team Championship Match

The duo of Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler managed to retain their Raw Women’s Tag Team Championship by defeating Lana and Naomi. Jax and Baszler won the match via submission.

WWE WrestleMania Backlash

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will defend his title at the WrestleMania Backlash in a Triple Threat match against Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman. Bianca Belair will defend the Smackdown Women’s Title against Bayley while RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley will fight a triple threat match against Charlotte Flair and Asuka.
