WWE News: John Cena and Nikki Bella Split

A few days ago the news of the hottest couple in the WWE John Cena and Nikki Bella splitting up was burning a hole in the WWE universe. The couple who were together and even engaged for 6 years decided to go their own way or maybe this could be them taking a little time off to think about their future and have some personal space. Regardless of that, right now John and Nikki have split.

John started dating Nikki (real name  Stephanie Garcia-Colace) in 2012. The couple kept their relationship a secret for the first few months then made it public. Their relationship was featured heavily on the WWE show Total Divas then on Total Bellas which started in 2016 on the E! network.

The couple was never shy about their relationship and showed it completely on Total Divas and later on Total Bellas. The relationship came under the spotlight in the WWE when both John and Nikki started a feud with The Miz and his wife Maryse. The feud saw Miz and Maryse dress up like John and Nikki and mock their relationship. The feud calumniated at Wrestlemania 33 with a Mixed Match Tag Match.

Post-match and mid-celebration John proposed to Nikki on the grandest stage of all to get engaged to him. Nikki said yes and the two got engaged in front of the entire WWE universe. Mid-April 2018 news broke that the couple has separated. Both posting on their respective Twitter accounts about the split. Rumors started speculating about the reasons why this happened which included, John not wanting a family and Nikki wanting it.

At the moment no one exactly knows the real reason why this happened and what may happen in the future. Whether this is the last we’ll see of John and Nikki or maybe this is just a break between the couple or maybe even a WWE plotline as this took place right after John’s massive loss at Wrestlemania 34 against the Undertaker which lasted for 2 minutes and 45 seconds.
