There are 12 matches planned for Wrestlemania 34 which will make the show around 6 hours long. All the matches set up are going to be amazing but as always some are more interesting than the others. Here’s our ranking of the match cards of Wrestlemania 34 :
#12 Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali
The only reason this match is ranked last is that 205 Live hasn’t really caught on with the fans. Everyone loves the high flying action but it’s hard to keep up with the stories on Raw, Smackdown, NXT and 205. This match is the final match in the WWE Cruiserweight Championship Tournament for the vacant WWE Cruiserweight Championship belt.
#11 Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax
There hasn’t been much of a build-up to the match as it’s a result of Alexa Bliss’s intentions of only using Nia and not actually caring for her or being her friend. WWE‘s efforts of turning Nia into a babyface seem quite forced.
#10 André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
This match every year at Wrestlemania is quite unpredictable and usually full of sudden surprise returns by superstars.
#9 WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal
We saw the first Women’s Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble PPV where Asuka won the match. Now, it’ll be fun to see which female superstar makes a surprise return.
#8 The Miz vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor
The Triple threat match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship will definitely be among the highlight matches of the night. Three very talented superstars who work off each other so effortlessly.
#7 Randy Orton vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal
Gloriously, Outta Nowhere! Plain and Simple.
#6 Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka
The debut of the “Empress of Tomorrow” on the grandest stage of them all. Asuka will be putting her winning streak against Charlotte’s title.
#5 Cesaro and Sheamus vs. Braun Strowman and a mystery opponent
It will be interesting to see who will be revealed to be Braun’s partner in the match and whether teaming up with this mystery partner will lead to Braun’s run as a Tag Team Champion.
#4 Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon
The in-ring debut of former UFC champion Ronda Rousey will be fun to watch. The tension between Hunter and Kurt has been boiling and seeing the Olympic Gold medallist back in the ring is always a delight.
#3 Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns
Lesnar and Reigns had previously faced off at WrestleMania 31 but the match ended with Seth Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank contract during the match and pinning Reigns to win the title. Reigns won the Elimination Chamber match to win a chance to fight Brock for the Universal Championship.
#2 AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
The most awaited match since the two joined the man roster. ‘The Face the Runs the Place’ vs ‘The King of Strong Style’. Winning the men’s Royal Rumble, Shinsuke chose to challenge AJ for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 34. Though these two have faced off at Wrestle Kingdom 10, it’ll be an epic match to watch on the grandest stage of them all.
#1 John Cena vs. The Undertaker
The match that the fans have been craving for a decade now and are dying to see happen. This match was once thought to be the only way to turn Cena heel. Now, we’re waiting to see how this match plays out and what it leads to.
