Ever wondered what cricketers would be doing if they weren’t cricketers? If cricket was not an option, what sort of careers would players choose? Had Sachin Tendulkar not graced the 22-yards of the game, what he would be? Here’s a compilation.
Sachin Tendulkar – Shuttler
The master blaster had Badminton pedigree at the tender age. He has often professed his love for the racquet sports, badminton in particular. He would have been a shuttler. After all, he is made for Sports!
Rahul Dravid – Full-time Coach/Mentor
Rahul Dravid is a mentor anyone would be blessed to have. Dravid has been preparing and grooming the junior cricket teams so effectively. The former India captain would have been a mentor, if not cricketer, which he has become eventually. A Dravid-like coach is all you need!

MS Dhoni – Soldier
MS Dhoni would have been serving in Indian Army if he weren’t a cricketer.“Once my cricket career is over, I would definitely like to serve in the Army,” said Dhoni when inducted as an honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the elite Parachute Regiment in 2015.

Kumble’s photography skills will definitely bowl you over! One of the two bowlers in the history of cricket to claim perfect 10 wickets in an innings, Kumble was often seen holding a camera while he was the coach of Indian Cricket Team.

Suresh Raina – Musician
If you follow Suresh Raina on social platforms, you would be aware of his singing talent. Fond of music; for sure, he would have been a musician if not a cricketer.
