In a must win game for RCB, AB de Villiers proved why he is the only Superman of world cricket. After a blistering knock of 69 off just 39 deliveries which included 12 fours and a humungous six which went out of the stadium over fine leg measuring 105 meters, it was time for him to show his class in the field.
In a day where many catches went down, Abd was on some different planet all together. It was the second last ball of the 8th over, Moeen Ali was bowling and SRH opener Alex Hales was on strike. The run rate wasn’t that good for SRH and to up the ante Alex Hales decided to step out and hit it over the mid wicket boundary, until he found the Superman Ab de Villiers standing on the boundary and timing his jump to perfection to pouch one of the best catch of the tournament with one hand.
No doubt the Man of the Match award was rightly given to Ab de Villiers for his stellar batting show and also was the deserving holder of the VIVO Perfect Catch Of The Match Award.
Here’s a look of that scintillating Catch from Ab De Villiers.
