The King of T20, Chris Gayle took to Instagram to let his followers know of his New Year mantra, i.e., “More smiles…less expectation for 2018.” The hard-hitting West Indian is having New Year vacations in Sydney, Australia.

A giant of the shortest format in cricket, Chris Gayle has almost every T20 batting record to his name. The left-handed batsman, who follows a no-holds-barred approach every time he walks into bat, has played T20 cricket around the world.
Chris Gayle is one of the top run-getters of T20 format, and the only one so far to have gone past 10,000 runs. In his T20 career so far, Gayle has struck 743 sixes with fellow West Indian Kieron Pollard at distant second with 459 sixes against his name.
