Argentinean living legend Diego Maradona is not a stranger to controversies; he is someone who had been caught mostly with everything which a footballer should not be seen with. From playing to being a visitor, controversies are always there with him. Recently, he made a mistake while watching his protégé Messi playing bizarrely wrong against Iceland; he was seen with a cigar in a tobacco-free arena, which completely goes against the values of the venue. Maradona was caught on camera and once again he is on the front page.
It is not the first time when Maradona is charged with breaking the rule there a full page history of him demolishing the law by his behaviour. The famous ‘Hand of God” incident had taken place in the year 1986 World Cup Quarterfinal, against England, Maradona helped Argentina by stretching his hands and punching the ball on target over the English goalkeeper, Peter Shilton to hit the goal which leads Argentina to win the match. The Tunisian referee refuses the claim of England side and gave approval of the fair goal to Argentina, which eventually made the world champion.
Another controversy came in 1994 World Cup in the United States when he fails a drug test for ephedrine and was banned for 15 months. Maradona also sentenced jail in 1998 for aiming and shooting a journalist through Air Rifle. After getting sentenced for jail, he tested positive with cocaine while playing for Napoli later on suspended for 15 months.

Maradona not so cool now. Some South Korea fans just shouted “Diego” and he obliged with a smile, kiss and wave. Then pulled his eyes to the side in a clearly racist gesture. All of us who saw it are stunned.
