Premier League clubs have their work cut out to strengthen squads ahead of PL 2018-19 season. Liverpool has already secured the likes of Naby Keita, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson. Manchester-based clubs are among others to have shelled out huge sums for their new signings.
However, there are many Premier League stars who have been rumoured to be moving out. Here’s a compilation.
Eden Hazard
Cristiano Ronaldo has moved to Juventus and Real Madrid are seeking for the replacement. With neither Kylian Mbappe nor Neymar likely to land in Madrid, Eden Hazard is a likely candidate to join Los Blancos. Real Madrid boss, Florentino Perez has signed the standout players from the World Cup on several occasions in the past, sometimes just for the branding reasons. He could go after Hazard!
N’Golo Kante
N’Golo Kante was as impressive as Kylian Mbappé in the recently concluded FIFA World Cup 2018. There are plenty of rumours surrounding the Chelsea star after an impressive show in the World Cup. Reportedly, Paris Saint-Germain have shown interest in Kante, so have Barcelona. If Hazard stays, the French midfielder could be on his way out.
David de Gea
Manchester United keeper had a forgetful World Cup 2018 but remains one of the most sought out keepers in Europe. The rumours of David de Gea to Real Madrid have surfaced again. With Navas uncertain to be Real Madrid’s number one for long, David de Gea could be approached. The European champions also have Courtois and Jan Oblak on their radar.
Willian
Another Chelsea player who could say goodbye to the club before the start of the Premier League 2018-19 season. The transfer rumours have linked the Brazilian to Manchester United and Barcelona so far. Jose Mourinho has always regarded Willian as one of the best midfielders in the league and who knows Jose brings him just like he brought Matic to United.
Harry Maguire
Leicester City centre-back has been linked with several Premier League clubs post his World Cup quarter-final exploits against Sweden. Maguire could move to Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspurs or Liverpool in this transfer window.
