UTA vs HOU Dream11: The NBA has turned its head with midseason at its full pace. Some teams stumble, some pick up and soon enough, we can witness some big-time trades changing the complexion of different teams and we can see some teams pulling the trigger on doing away with what they perceive as hefty contracts. This is the type of window where even rebuilding teams get on the hunt for a young player or future picks to bolster their arsenal. It doesn’t mean that every team will engage in the trade market but it does mean that the overall dynamics of the league can change.
In this game, the two teams that meet here have had contrasting fortunes since the last season. The Jazz finished the last season with the best record, and this season, they have won 29 games and lost games but have lost five of the last six games, this implies that the team has struggled a bit and now with their main scorer Donovan Mitchell, the other scorers will have to pick up the game.
On the other hand, the Houston Rockets have struggled all season long, even staying close against many teams. They have won just 13 games and have lost a whopping 32 games, going through the pains of the rebuilding process. Still, any NBA team even if they lose 80 in a season out of the 82 games (Speaking hypothetically, it has never happened), they have some highly talented players, hey, it is the professional version of basketball after all in the highly competitive American sports environment!

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis
Jazz: Can they get deep into the Playoffs?
Jazz doesn’t have a host of dependable individual defenders, they rely largely upon Rudy Gobert to stifle inside scoring and Royce O’Neale to play switch-heavy defense extending all the way to the perimeter. Conley used to be an elite perimeter defender but has receded a little these days. Bojan Bogdanovic, Jordan Clarkson, and Donovan Mitchell are not as pesky on defense but last season, the team’s help defense was miles ahead. This shortcoming can be highly fatal against a team like the Suns or Warriors, which can shut the shop in certain ways. Anyway, the team’s offense is certainly amazing even with Mitchell out. Conley and Clarkson can create high-quality shots, meanwhile, Bojan Bogdanovic has often picked up his scoring when Mitchell has been out and it will not be a surprise if he does so again. Gobert can hurt oppositions in the paint while O’Neale is a decent option even if not a high-yielding scorer. Ingles can act as a playmaker and also pick up his scoring when needed while Rudy Gay has shown some decent hops too. But the question is the same, can the Jazz make a deep Playoffs run this season?
Rockets: What is Wood’s and Gordon’s future here?
Christian Wood leads the Rockets in scoring and rebounds, and his role is vital in sealing the paint, clamping down boards, and giving the Rockets a semblance of depth at the frontline. On the other hand, Eric Gordon has now entered the veteran stage of his career and still can help out with more than decent scoring nights. Now I believe these two can be traded this season and it would make sense for a contending team or someone like the Mavericks can pick him up to bolster the guard depth(An idea) and there will be some suitors interested in him scoring chops, considering they can create the cap room. Meanwhile, Wood can help out so many teams in the middle. Anyway, with Rockets having youngsters like Porter Jr., Green, Sengun, Martin Jr., there is some talent while I think Tate is a brilliant player in whom many teams will be interested(Can’t Lakers get him to address the perimeter defense issues through him). Anyway, this is the picture for the Rockets but I think they need more young players if they are rebuilding and struggling.

Bojan Bogdanovic(UTA)

Bojan is a superb perimeter shooter and has other ways of scoring too. Now, with Donvan out, his role expands considerably and we have seen historically, that he lifts his scoring to 25+, however, will he be able to do it again? Bojan can score 25-30 points in this game.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-43
Jalen Green(HOU)
Points: 15
Rebounds: 05
Assists: 04
Jalen has been doing a decent job at the off-guard position but yes, can showcase rookie jitters on both ends of the floor. Green has been scoring in the 11-15 points range usually.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 20-28

Clarkson is the reigning Sixth-Player-of-the-Year and why not, he is one of the best scorers off the bench. And now with Mitchell out for this game, he can expand his scoring range from 16-22 to 23-26 possibly. Will he go for 25+ points here?
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 24-34
