San Antonio Spurs vs Oklahoma City Thunder
NBA Regular Season
SAS VS OKC MATCH PREVIEW:
San Antonio Spurs host Oklahoma City Thunder in NBA action on Friday morning (IST) at AT&T Center, in San Antonio.
Spurs are sixth in Western Conference heading into this game, while the visitors are two places above them at 4th, and also a game better than the host. So a win for Gregg Popovich and his team will take them level with Thunder, and above New Orleans Pelicans, who are fifth with an identical record of 43-32 as of Spurs.
Both these teams should qualify for the NBA playoff despite Los Angeles Clippers winning their last three games, and subsequently closing the gap on Thunder and Spurs who both suffered defeats in their last game respectively.
Clippers are just three wins away from matching Thunder and only two away from Spurs. But with only seven games remaining in the regular season, it looks improbable to think these teams missing out on next month’s playoffs.
However, mathematically, it’s still a possibility. Also, both Thunder and Spurs would be aiming to head into the all-important playoffs with great momentum behind them, and winning the matches fits all the bills.

Form of the Team-
San Antonio Spurs–
San Antonio Spurs are struggling this season to say the least and the continued absence of their talismanic Kawhi Leonard is a big factor why Spurs are averaging just 102.5 points this season. Quite remarkably, only Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings are averaging lesser than Popovich’s team.

But their defense is faring better and is allowing just 99.4 points against them. They are shooting at 45.8 percent while the opposition is managing 45.2 shots against them from beyond the arc.
In Kawhi’s absence, LaMarcus Aldridge has stood up to the challenge of leading the charge for Spurs, and is averaging 23.1 points this season.
Oklahoma City Thunder-
Oklahoma City Thunder could have moved level with 3rd placed Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference had they beaten the visitors at Chesapeake Energy Arena. But C.J. McCollum and Damian Lillard ran havoc and outperformed the hosts as Blazers won the match 108-15, and moved two wins away from Thunder in the table.
Thunder are averaging 107.3 points per season, and are allowing 104 points against them. While their accuracy from beyond the arc is dwindling this season and they are shooting at only 45.5 percent in 2017-18.

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Both teams boast some unique talent in their ranks who have the ability to change the course of the match on their own. However, with Kawhi Leonard still out and Spurs’ too much dependence on LaMarcus Aldridge, the hosts are finding it hard to get enough support for their top scorer this season.
While the likes Paul George, and Carmelo Anthony makes more than a good support for the reigning MVP Russell Westbrook, and that’s why Thunder are favorite in this match.
Oklahoma City Thunder to win the match.
