SAC vs CLE Dream11: As COVID-19 continues to wrap the world around its firm grasp, the job as an NBA writer hasn’t been any easier, and to traverse the tricky terrain, I have to take care of little details as most writers have done themselves. Anyway, at least the league has avoided postponements on a large scale and that is why we are here, discussing the game between Sacramento Kings and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Kings have been struggling all season long and somehow manage to get worse with each month it feels, they have a 16 wins and 26 losses record, which has been a theme for many many seasons now. Is there another personnel change incoming or does any amount of personnel change doesn’t matter anymore?
On the other hand, the Cavaliers have been way better with 22 wins and 18 losses. Yes, they have had a tough time since late December and the injury to Rubio has hurt them in more ways than thought earlier. Cavs got beaten by Warriors 82-96 but if anything, that can serve as a lesson for the upcoming games.

Kings: The fans keep sighing
Imagine supporting a team to only know that they are going to get beaten badly in more than half of their games. Now, imagine a fan rooting for a team for 15+ years and seeing the same result, and what is the end result? Same old trades, personnel change, a lot of talk about “rebuilding” and a new hope to be found in 4-5 years. The Kings have been struggling for years just to make the postseason and keep on failing every season to make a mark. Sacramento has seen multiple players losing consistency, Hield, Barnes, and Davis, all have seen their shooting fall down badly and despite a sturdy playmaking+scoring backcourt duo of Haliburton and Fox, the team has not fared well on offense that much. Kings have been a terrible team defensively too, and overall, they lose control of the game early and keep repeating the same old mistakes. Well, these frustrations look eternal it seems.
Cavaliers: Forward-based lineup
Cleveland uses four Forwards/bigs in their lineup. Technically, they have two Centers, a Power Forward, and a Forward in the main five, along with a dependable Point Guard in Darius Garland. While, the Cavaliers have not fared well in recent times but even then, the promise is high because the team is an elite defensive unit and takes care of the rebounding end. Garland has been able to score 20+, dish 5+ assists and with rookie Mobley scoring in double-figures, Allen sealing the paint on both ends, and Markkanen stretching the floor, the team can make hay on both ends. Off the bench, Kevin Love keeps the Forward train rolling, and Cedi Osman is a wing with a lot of scoring talent and the newly signed Rajon Rondo has looked solid in the first two outings. Yes, the team lost badly to the Warriors, but there is a lot of potential for this team.

Darius Garland(CLE)
Points: 09
Rebounds: 02
Assists: 04
Steals: 01
Darius has been playing his best basketball these days and even though he had a tough 3/12 shooting night versus the Warriors, the guard has scored in the 22-27 points and has dished 6-8 assists a game consistently. The guard can be selected as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 35-47
De’Aaron Fox (SAC)
Points: 14
Rebounds: 05
Assists: 02
Blocks: 01
Fox has been a stable offensive option for the Kings for some years now and his assists number is down as Haliburton has been doing the job as the major playmaker. Fox has scored 30 or more in three of the last four games. He usually figures in the 17-24 points and 5-6 assists a game.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 30-39
Jarrett Allen(CLE)
Points: 12
Rebounds: 07
Assists: 01
Blocks: 02
Jarrett has been a force in the paint. With Allen around, you get tough rebounds, inside scoring, and he can also reject shots at a high clip. Jarrett has usually scored in the 13-19 points, grabbed 10-15 rebounds, and blocked 1-3 shots a game regularly.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 34-42
Tyrese Haliburton(SAC)

Expected Fantasy Points Range: 31-42
Harrison Barnes(SAC)
Points: 13
Rebounds: 07
Assists: 02
Steals: 01
Blocks: 01
Harrison has been one of the more reliable scorers at the wing in the league for some seasons but this season has seen his production fall big time with each month. Barnes started with a 20+ points range, then it got reduced to 15-19, and right now, he is hovering in the 8-14 points range.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 34-44
Evan Mobley(CLE)
Points: 11
Rebounds: 06
Assists: 02
Steals: 02
Blocks: 01
Warriors’ defense stifled Evan’s effort as the rookie committed 5 turnovers uncharacteristically. On average, the high-flying rookie has scrapped 15-19 points, 6-9 rebounds, and has blocked 1-4 shots a game on a regular basis.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 33-42
