POR vs TOR Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
After blowing away Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors will be looking for another big scalp at home as they host an in-form Portland Trail Blazers in a regular season NBA match at Scotiabank Arena, in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Saturday morning (IST).
Toronto Raptors: One of the favourites for the Eastern Conference
After a shock result against Orlando Magic, Raptors produced one of their all-round performance against Boston Celtics in the last match, beating them 118-95 at Scotiabank Arena.
Pascal Siakam led the way with 25 points, 8 rebounds and two assists and Kawhi Leonard had 21 points, 6 rebounds and four assists.
Raptors were so good in the match that they suffocated the visitors to the point of a debilitated bunch of players. Kyrie Irving suffered the most as he could drop just 7 points in the match. No Celtics player could touch the double-digit mark with Marcus Morris scoring a team-high 17 points.

The win against the Greens further fuels the belief that Raptors are more than capable of making a deep run in the playoffs this season. In the last few years, Raptors have failed to cross the last hurdles in the conference, but with Kawhi Leonard’s inclusion to the roster, it is expected to change this year.
As things stand in the Eastern Conference, Toronto are sitting 2nd on the table with a 45-17 record.
Portland Trail Blazers: Capable of making a deep run in the playoffs!
Just like Toronto Raptors, Portland Trail Blazers are also coming into this match after beating Boston Celtics. Though the visitors didn’t enjoy a blow-out win but managed to beat the Greens 92-97 in their own backyard.
It was Blazers’ fifth consecutive win and helped them move to fourth on the table in the Western Conference at the expense of Houston Rockets.
Damian Lillard has been their talismanic this season and is getting very good support from teammate CJ McCollum. Both the players lead the stats charts for Blazers and have been prolific with the ball in their hands.
However, Blazers’ front-men deserve the praise as well, especially Jusuf Nurkic who leads the team with 10.1 rebounds per game.
The team looks more mature and complete this season, and it seems as if Damian Lillard and Co. could be ready to break their first-round playoff hurdle this season.
Regular Season Record-
Toronto Raptors: W-45, L-17
Portland Trail Blazers: W-38, L-23
Players to watch out for:
Toronto Raptors:
Kawhi Leonard – He is a two-way player, and that’s why is burdened with extra responsibility in the team. A frontrunner for the defensive player of the year, the former San Antonio Spurs star is a sort of player who can make this season the best-ever in Toronto Raptors’ history. The 28-year-old is racking up 26.8 points per game, which are coming at an efficiency rate of 25.97.
Pascal Siakam and Serge Ibaka – The duo is indispensable for the team. Down the post or inside the paint, the kind of job they do is commendable. Siakam can shoot the ball as well and boasts more than 50% accuracy in field goals.
Portland Trail Blazers:
Damian Lillard – An out-and-out superstar, an All-Star and a player who has the potential to win an NBA MVP. Damian Lillard is scoring points at 26.0 per game. His season high is 42 points which came against Miami Heat in Blazers’ 5th game of the season. The 28-year-old is also leads the assists chart for the team.
CJ McCollum- He can be Lillard’s splash brother in Portland. He is one of the two players, other than Lillard, to average in the 20s for Blazers this season. The 27-year-old is racking up 21.1 points per game.
