POR vs LAL Dream11: The trade deadline has put the NBA in frenzy yet again and we are hearing some astonishing rumors recently. The Nets and Sixers can pull of a bonanza deal that can send James Harden to the Sixers and Ben Simmons to the Nets along with perhaps Matisse Thybulle and Tyrese Maxey. What a big deal that be and how will that change the landscape of not only the Eastern Conference but the league itself! By the time you read this, that trade may have already been completed. Well, these are the ripples that the trades sent and this deadline, oh boy, for writers like me, our hands are full shuffling around the rosters. And talk about roster shuffles, we are into this game between the Portland Trail Blazers the Los Angeles Lakers in a Western Conference tussle.
Trail Blazers have struggled all season long and that is why they have pulled the plug recently. First, they traded Norman Powell, then CJ McCollum, and there can be more incoming with Jusuf Nurkic also figuring in the rumors. So, I am taking a deep breath here as I write as a lot of dynamics will be shifted on an unprecedented level. And well, unprecedented is the name of the game.
The Lakers also are actively searching for answers and there is already enough written about the storied franchise that can be accessed easily. Surely, by now, Russell Westbrook experiment has failed and he has lost the motivation to play on a high keel with the Lakers system abandoning him these days. Davis and LeBron continue to fight but the Lakers season is a disappointment by large.

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis
Portland: Busy management, rotations all over the place
Anfernee Simons can be the major ball handler down the line as Lillard remains out and with Powell+Nance Jr+CJ McCollum+Tony Snell gone from the team, there can be more moves down the line. Perhaps, Jusuf Nurkic, a long-time Portland player can also be traded soon and at this point, the team is setting the reset button but will continue to build around Damian Lillard for now. What a run it was for the team with the duo of Lillard and McCollum, sure they didn’t win a championship or made the Finals, but they were one of the best backcourt duos for the team after the pairing of Terry Porter and Clyde Drexler in late 80s and early 90s. It is sort of sad to see the duo getting broken up after watching them for years.
But NBA is a business and in business, can you be sad for so long! This is why let us look at the Trail Blazers and what they have done. With Simons, Bledsoe, Alexander-Walker, Hart, Winslow, and Nurkic(will he stay?) along with McLemore, Elleby, Brown III, and Watford, the team lacks variety on multiple levels and is heavily outmatched at multiple positions, but hey, this season looks like a lost cause anyway. So, well, they are offloading contracts to carve out a space for bringing in big-name players or getting some young talent to develop. Damian Lillard has waited for long but how long will he wait?
Lakers: Total disarray
The Lakers have derailed this season, they have lost more than 80% of the games against teams with 50%+ win teams and their defense and hustle have let them down on a regular basis. LA Lakers keep on losing their way and Russell Westbrook’s saga keeps on hurting his state and the overall team. Westbrook has been seeing a reduction in his minutes and he doesn’t look happy at all these days. Russell has been losing his way and perhaps he will be traded in the offseason. Davis and LeBron have done a great job on the scoring end but they need help at this point even with a revved-up Monk.
So, how will they fare around the trade deadline? Will they trade Talen Horton-Tucker along with someone else to fetch a player who can perhaps help out on the defensive end if anything? I doubt and many writers have written to the length that Russell can be traded around the trade deadline. On the other hand, the bench has been struggling too and the Lakers season has been a lost cause so far. What can I write about the Lakers? They are just disappointing, they are themselves disappointed and I feel the fans must be too frustrated to even say much at this point.

NBA Scores, Fantasy Basketball Top Picks
LeBron James(LAL)
Points: 27
Rebounds: 05
Assists: 08
LeBron has kept his game up despite the tumultuous time his Lakers have undergone recently. James can be expected to score 27 or more while grabbing 5 or more rebounds and dishing 5+ assists a game. The Legendary Forward can be selected as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 50-65
Anfernee Simons (POR)
Points: 19
Rebounds: 05
Assists: 05
Steals: 01
Simons will have the reins of this Trail Blazers team with Lillard out and McCollum along with Powell traded. Simons has scored exactly 19 points in four games straight while dishing around 5 assists a game.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 29-39
Anthony Davis(LAL)
Points: 22
Rebounds: 09
Assists: 04
Steals: 01
Davis continues to be a force at the big Forward position and he has continued to pile up points in the middle. Anthony can be expected to score 25+, grab 10 or more rebounds, and notch 1 or more steals per game regularly.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 40-55
Jusuf Nurkic(POR)
Points: 14
Rebound: 11
Assists: 04
Blocks: 02
Steals: 01
Will the Trail Blazers stick with Jusuf with the trade deadline appearing close? However, if he does play then remember he has been in the 14-16 points range and has grabbed 10-16 rebounds a game.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 30-45
Justise Winslow(POR)
Points: 12
Rebounds: 07
Assists: 03
Steals: 02
Blocks: 02
Winslow played 30+ minutes in the last game with the core of Trail Blazers disappearing except for Nurkic(So far) and Lillard. He can be expected to be in the above statline if things stay the way are.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 28-38
Malik Monk(LAL)
Points: 20
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 05
Steals: 02
Malik has turned out to be a great off-season signing for the Lakers and his minutes increase as the season has gone on. I expect the guard to score 15 or more here.
Expected Fantasy Points Range: 29-40
POR vs LAL DREAM11 LINEUP BALANCERS
- CJ Elleby(POR) compiled 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals in the last game. The guard can be expected to be in similar ranges with Portland’s combinations in total chaos.
- Russell Westbrook(LAL) had 10 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 block in the last game. Westbrook’s confidence keeps dwindling and I don’t know what to expect from him at this point. He is clearly not comfortable in the current Lakers environment.
- Stanley Johnson(LAL) had 16 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist in the last game. Stanley seems to improve his scoring when playing alongside LeBron. He has scored 10 or more when he has been active.
- Ben McLemore(POR) had 13 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists in the last game. McLemore can be expected to score 13 or more with the Trail Blazers rotations all over the place as the trade deadline has been topsy-turvy.
- Austin Reaves(LAL) had 10 points, 1 rebound in the last game. The Guard has played around 20 minutes a game recently and scoring in the 6-10 points range.
- Greg Brown III(POR) had 15 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal in the last game. The big Forward has scored 10 or more while grabbing 4-8 rebounds in the last two games.
- Dennis Smith Jr.(POR) had 3 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 1 block in the last contest. The above statline is the usual production for Dennis.
- Talen Horton-Tucker(LAL) had 4 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks, 2 steals in the last game. Talen’s offense has fallen but his defense has been serviceable recently, the above range is what he has been in recently.
- Trenton Watford(POR) had 8 points, 3 rebounds in the last game. The Forward has been in the 6-9 points and 3-6 rebounds range recently.
- Trevor Ariza(LAL) had 7 points, 2 assists, 1 rebound, 2 steals in the last game. The Forward has scored around 7 points and has been getting minutes with Anthony out.

Where to watch NBA Live Score?
Not the best news for Indian fans, the game is not available on streaming services Voot and JIO TU, and well TV outlets MTV and VH1 aren’t displaying many games either. So, perhaps the best method to catch most of the NBA action is to dive into the NBA League Pass and if you can spend some bucks, purchase the annual subscription and you get both the live stream and the full game replay. For getting hold of the scorecards, stats, and news, visit the official website of the NBA.
