PHI vs PHX Dream11: NBA’s trade deadline is nearing and well, many teams can pull the plug and bring in players that can transform the scenery. This is also a window where teams prepare for the next season and free up cap space to bring in fresh talent to bolster the team in long term. The NBA has been always busy during the trade deadline and well, we also hear trade rumors during this season. Anyway, keeping that in our mind, let us talk about this game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Phoenix Suns.
The 76ers zipped their two-game losing streak after beating the Bulls 119:108. However, the team has enjoyed a rather boisterous period since January and the team has largely ridden the coattails of Joel Embiid, who is having a terrific scoring and rebounding presence while also pushing the pace. The 76ers are aiming for a high finish and with Embiid in the fray, they can go for a big run anytime soon.
On the other hand, the Suns have four times more wins than the losses and they are having an incredible season. The team is built for a deep run and their team balance is incredible, something which I can’t even describe in a few words. The Suns keep going on these big winning runs and they have enriched themselves with great talent. Can they repeat as the Finalists this season?

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis
Philly: Can they make it to Conference Finals?
The 76ers have done a great job with Embiid in the middle and remember this is the team that finished on top during the last season. They lost to the Hawks in the Eastern Semis and well, that created a fallout between Ben Simmons and the rest of the team especially when Joel Embiid said that Ben Simmons should have capitalized on his chances better. Well, whatever may the case, as of now, Simmons has not played since the beginning of the season and the rift between Ben and the rest of the team only keeps growing larger. Now Simmons is obviously in trade rumors but there are some who believe that the team will trade him before the next draft.
It is clear that the 76ers’ current record can be largely attributed to Joel Embiid’s steady scoring and his tendency to push the ball in absence of Simmons has helped the 76ers field an effective offense. But the contributions of Tyrese Maxey can’t be ignored, who first elevated his scoring and has also become a decent playmaker. Tobias Harris forms a terrific Frontcourt pairing with Embiid and with Seth Curry at the off-guard position, the team can produce quality offense while playing defense on a high level. The bench production is certainly susceptible but yes Georges Niang has provided some decent perimeter shooting. Matisse Thybulle and Danny Green form a strong defensive pairing but can the 76ers make a deep push in a much-deeper Eastern Conference this season?
Suns: Another Finals appearance?
The Suns have continued their tradition of winning away from home and they fended off a furious rally from the Bulls in the last contest. Phoenix has shown immense grit this season and their ability to win both at home and away from home makes them a complete squad. They had 70% wins in the last season and this season they have compiled an 80%+ win record implying they have actually improved this season. How scary is that! The team made Finals last season and they look primed for another deep run as the backcourt of Paul and Booker keep on building big-time production.
The team is beautifully packed with veterans, youngsters, and players on borderline veteran status. Bridges has had a great season at the wing position, Ayton continues to be a brilliant two-way Center while Johnson has been huge off the bench throughout the season. JaVale McGee performs a great job as a backup, and despite a host of injuries, the Suns have remained competitive. However, this season the team can face a stiff test of making the Finals as the Warriors and Grizzlies have done a great job on both ends of the floor and can be a tough nut to crack before the Finals in the competitive Western Conference. Can the Suns carry this 80%+ win rhythm well into the postseason?
