OKC vs TOR Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

The part two of this mini-series heads to Toronto as Toronto Raptors host Oklahoma City Thunder in game two in a regular season NBA match at Scotiabank Arena, in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Saturday morning (IST).

In the end, the Toronto Raptors had to show every ounce of their tenacity and composure to earn a win which looked a formality after the end of the 3rd quarter.

Raptors had a huge 14-point lead going into the penultimate quarter, and 20 points in the 2nd quarter of the match, and the way the hosts performed, the game had a “comfortable win for visitors” written all over the court.

But Thunder showed that they are no mediocre team. They may be reeling at the moment, going through a tough period which every team suffered now and then, the fightback, led by Russell Westbrook was commendable, and which caught Nick Nurse’s men by all surprises.

Paul George’s stats may show 19 points recorded over the game, but that’s not a full story. He showed why he a genuine MVP as he dropped 9 points in a 64-second stretch deep in the regulation time, and forcing overtime.

But the hosts ran out of the gas in the end, scoring just 4 points against Raptors’ 13 in the overtime.

The 114-123 defeat was OKC’s 11th in the last 16 games. But there’s no reason to push the panic button as the team is supremely talented to suffer from the loss of form for a long stretch.

The win also showed why Raptors are favourite for the NBA glory. They are so well-rounded team that Nick Nurse has managed to rest Kawhi Leonard for many games this season, with the team still managed to keep their high standards.

Regular Season Record-
Toronto Raptors:
W-26, L-32
Oklahoma City Thunder:
W-27, L-29

Players to watch out for:
Toronto Raptors:
Kawhi Leonard –
returned to the line-up for the big away game against Oklahoma City Thunder, and did as he was expected to do so. The former San Antonio Spurs superstar made two steals, 3 turnovers and on his way to 22 points and 10 rebounds. His future is still in the air, and there’s no guarantee that he will be in Toronto next season. As they say “enjoy while you can”, Raptors fans should be thankful that the 2014 NBA MVP chose to come over to Toronto, and possibly bring that elusive title to the city. With him being healthy and in the squad, anything is possible.

Pascal Siakam – The ever tenacious and a player who gives his heart out in every game, Pascal Siakam is a vital cog in Toronto Raptors’ wheel. Against Thunder, he dropped 33 points, showing that Nick Nurse’s team is more than what many believe a “one man army”.

Oklahoma City Thunder:
Paul George – Was quiet for the most part of the game against Raptors, which was a reason why Thunder lost the match. But the former Indiana Pacers star is having one of his best seasons till date. He has well and truly taken over the role of team’s mantle. The Thunder are a force which can go the distance. The 28-year-old is racking up a team-high 28.3 points per game.
Russell Westbrook – As the playoffs are approaching, Russell Westbrook is starting to hit the heights he can certainly reach. The 2017 MVP is the only player to average a triple-double this season. In the last match, he dropped a magnificent game-high 42 points and also added 11 rebounds to his efforts.

OKC vs TOR Dream11 Fantasy Team:

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Oklahoma City Thunder are reeling. With the playoffs on the horizon, this is not the kind of momentum the team or the head coach will be hoping to take with them into the post-season. Having said that, OKC are facing perhaps one of the best teams in NBA this season at a time when they are certainly short of everything, be it confidence or tactics.
Thunder will now head to Toronto to play Raptors in an away game and we can see them losing yet again.
