Knicks suffered a familiar fate in the last game as they went down 104-115 at home against Minnesota Timberwolves. After all, they are propping up the table in the Eastern Conference and are one of the favourites to finish at the foot of the standings.

But before the last match, New York won a game, beating Atlanta Hawks 106-91 at Philips Arena. That was a rare sight as Knicks were on an 18-game losing streak before that match. So the whole team must be relieved after getting the monkey off their back.

For San Antonio Spurs, this is a very good opportunity to get back to the winning track as the opponents are too benign at the moment.

San Antonio Spurs:
DeMar DeRozan: He never wanted a trade in first place, but destiny brought him to San Antonio and now he is the main man for Spurs. The 29-year-old is racking up the most points for San Antonio this season, dropping 21.4 points per game.

LaMarcus Aldridge – DeRozan has suffered from inconsistency this season but to some extent, LaMarcus Aldridge managed to stand tall in those games. The former Portland Trail Blazers superstar is scoring points at 20.7 per game and is also leading the rebounds charts with 9.0 per game.
