MIL vs DAL Dream11: The NBA Regular Season will fold in a week and what a great season this has been, like any other one for the past 70 years or so. It feels sad saying goodbye to some of the teams that we have followed since the beginning and as it is a long season, there is an attachment to teams that people will overlook as non-Playoffs squads but hey, all of them still have huge fanbases. But the remaining week is huge for most of the Playoffs teams, especially the ones looking to climb up the rankings, and the two teams here Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks are surely in that category.
The Bucks are the defending champions and with each day, it looks like they are primed to make a deep playoff run. The trouble for the East teams will be containing Giannis Antetokounmpo who has been playing at an even higher level in the second half of the season and we have seen the damage he can do in the Playoffs.
On the other hand, even though the Mavericks lack the star power of the Bucks, they have been highly successful with their lone star(or rather a superstar) Luka Doncic going off for big nights. They have built a defensive identity and they are known for shutting down the opponents late, especially on their home floor.

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis
The Bucks lost to the Clippers 119:153 as the team rested Giannis, Middleton, Holiday, and Lopez
The Bucks have been playing some terrific brand of basketball lately and they are in the hunt for the top spot even now although a top-two finish looks more likely. The loss against the Clippers must not sting that much, considering the team rested its top players but that one loss can make the difference between finishing at the top or as the third-best team. But the Bucks coaching staff may not be considered by all the rankings plot after all. Why? Well, when you have Giannis Antetokounmpo to unleash, the rankings can be turned to dust.
Along with Giannis, last postseason, Khris Middleton also churned out some memorable performances. In the last Playoffs, the perimeter defense of Jrue and the inside defense of Brook went to another level that caused a lot of disruptions for the Eastern squads. This is why the team won a couple of games in the East Finals against the Hawks even when Giannis was out. So, yes, although the Bucks won’t be a title team without Giannis, they are much more than him. Even if they finish in fourth place, you have to be wary of this incredible squad.
The Mavericks suffered one of their most disappointing losses against the Wizards as they were steamrolled 103:135 despite Luka’s 36 points
The last game was a rather stinker for the Mavs as they had seized the third spot but the loss whirled them back to the fourth rank and also the Warriors’ win today gave them a decent distance from them. The trouble for the Mavs has been their performances away from home, while they are usually not terrible away from home, their offensive and defensive intensity can both lack during various periods. At any rate, even if they don’t end up with the third spot and get the fourth rank, they will still have the four out of seven games home-court advantage.
And when it is Playoffs, superstars like Luka rise up to the occasion and he has been surrounded by wonderful defenders and complementary role players. Brunson and Dinwiddie as the other Point Guards will be crucial for the Mavs to make deep Playoff runs and if both of them don’t give consistent production, the Mavericks can face a lot of trouble. Reggie Bullock, Dorian Finney-Smith, Dwight Powell, and Maxi Kleber have all given great defensive support and they are also filling decently for the rest of the offense. Can the Mavericks finish the season on a high?
