LAL vs TOR Dream11 Team Prediction
The defending champions Toronto Raptors make a trip to La La Land as they take on Los Angeles Lakers in the matchup between two top teams IN NBA at Staples Center.
This isn’t any other NBA game. Raptors know LeBron James very well, having come unstuck against the King many times in the past when he used to ply his trade in the Eastern Conference. But times have changed. LeBron is in the Western Conference now, while the Raptors are fresh off winning their first-ever NBA title.
That said, the Raptors could be in for a tough time, not unfamiliar though, as they are set to play this match without Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka, tow of the most productive players on Nick Nurse’s roster.
The Raptors are coming off a 122-104 away win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Pascal Siakma was in the beast-mode as he erupted for his season-high 44 points and had 10 points to end the match with a memorable double-double. Raptors are 6-2 in the season and sit 2nd in the Eastern Conference.
Meanwhile, the Lakers are setting the bars quite high in the NBA. They are rolling over the teams, outscoring and sometimes keeping the opponents at by with their sturdy defense just as in the last game where they managed to reduce Miami Heat below 100 points, as they won 95-80 to extend its winning streak to seven games.
Match Details:
Host: Los Angeles Lakers
Visitors: Toronto Raptors
Venue: Staples Center
Timing: Monday, November 10, 08:00 AM
Fantasy Picks:
Lebron James: The King is back to his best, looks ready to take the crown back. The 34-year-old superstar scored three consecutive triple-double prior to the last game.
Anthony Davis: The 26-year-old is averaging a team-high 26.5 points per game this season, and that’s remarkable considering LeBron James is his teammate.
Pascal Siakam: Fresh pff scoring a season-high 44 points against the Pelicans in the last game, he is capable of outscoring any player on current form.
Team news:
Los Angeles Lakers:
Lakers continue to be without Rajon Rondo at the moment. The 33-year-old was rumored to be nearing a return but the Lakers confirmed that he won’t be playing against the Raptors. No other reported injury problems for the Showtime.
Toronto Raptors:
The Raptors have been dealt a huge blow ahead of this game as superstar Kyle Lowry is down with a finger injury. Lowry lasted just 16 minutes against the Pelicans on Saturday.
In addition, back-up big man Serge Ibaka is out for the indefinite period. He suffered a sprained ankle in the game against the Pelicans, while Patrick McCaw remains a long-term absentee.
