LAL vs PHX Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Los Angeles Lakers will be aiming to snap their three-game losing streak when they host one of the worst performing teams in NBA this season Phoenix Suns at Staples Centre, in Los Angeles on Monday morning (IST).

The Showtime lost another game to a Western Conference team and lost yet another season series against a team from the West. The latest defeat came at home vs Minnesota Timberwolves, a team which lost one of its best players in Jimmy Butler to Philadelphia 76ers just months into the new season.

Lakers lost 105-120 with most of the damage coming in the fourth quarter which they lost 23-36. Rajon Rondo made his first start from the injury since Christmas day and did well, scoring 15 points and a game-high 13 assists in the match.

It was Lakers’ third straight loss, and they moved further away from the playoff positions. At the moment, the Showtime are 9th in the Western Conference and two games adrift from top-8.

Phoenix Suns, meanwhile, are enduring another difficult campaign and are rooted at the bottom in the Western Conference. They are on a seven games losing streak, winning just twice in the last 10 matches.

The Suns have the secind worst away record as well, as they have won just four times in the 22 games on the road.

Regular Season Record-
Los Angeles Lakers:
W-25, L-24
Phoenix Suns:
W-11, L-40

Players to watch out for:

Los Angeles Lakers:
Kyle Kuzma –
The difficult period can sometimes reveal the true character of a player. Either they bog down under it, feel suppressed or come out better and a more mature player. Kyle Kuzma has definitely taken his standards to new heights in the absence of Lakers’ best player LeBron James.
The 23-year-old has averaged 22.2 points per game in the last 10 games or so, taking his season average to 19.1 per game.
Brandon Ingram – The 21-year-old is in good form as well, and is scoring points at a very good rate at the moment. The 2016 1st round 2nd pick is averaging 17.1 points per game. His season highest is 31 points which he scored in the second game of the season.

Phoenix Suns:
Devin Booker –
His efforts are not getting the kind of fruits they deserve. Averaging 24.6 points per game for the season for a team which is rooted at the bottom of Western Conference, he clearly deserves more respect from the position in the table. The 22-year-old is also racking up the most assists for his team this season, 6.7 per game coming into the Lakers’ encounter.
Kelly Oubre Jr. –
T.J.. Warren out and Deandre Ayton remaining questionable, this 23-year-old player is somebody who is tasked with more responsibility in the court. The 2015 1st round 15th overall pick is on a very good run at the moment and is dropping 18.6 points per game in his last 10 games or so.

LAL vs PHX Dream11 TEAM NEWS:
Los Angeles Lakers:

Injured – The injury-prone Lonzo Ball suffered another setback recently, as he hurt his ankle during Lakers’ 134-138 defeat against Houston Rockets. The 21-year-old missed 30-games to injuries in his first season in the league last season.
Though Lebron James has made significant improvements in his groin rehabilitation, the former Cleveland Cavaliers star is still a few games away from returning to action. According to reports, the 34-year-old has returned to full contact training and is moving ever closer towards making his return since Christmas day. He has missed the last 15 games, out of which Lakers have won just five times.
Questionable – None.
Suspended – None.

Phoenix Suns:
Injured – One of Suns’ best players T. J. Warren has been ruled out for the next 2-3 weeks, according to official reports.
The 25-year-old suffered an ankle injury in Phoenix’s 91-118 loss and is going to be a big miss considering how he has been performing of late.
Questionable – Meanwhile, Deandre Ayton still remains questionable for the next game. The 20-year-old has already missed the last four games with an ankle injury. The 7’1” young stalwart is racking up 16.4 points per game in his rookie season.
In addition, Richaun Holmes (ankle injury) and De’Anthony Melton (foot injury) both are doubtful and will be monitored ahead of the match.
Suspended – None.

LAL vs PHX Dream11 Fantasy Team:

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:

With no disrespect to Phoenix Suns, but of Los Angeles Lakers were looking for a benign opponent to end their current skid, the Suns would have been one of their handpicked teams. Still, the Showtime must perform and avoid the indecision in opponent’s half.
The onus will be on Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram tio finish the job and get the team into winning ways.
A win for Lakers is our call.
