LAL vs NOP Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Los Angeles Lakers will have their task cut out as they aim to break into the NBA playoffs when they face New Orleans Pelicans in a regular season NBA match at Staples Center, in Los Angeles, on Thursday morning (IST).
Even LeBron James’ presence has failed to motivate the young generation of Los Angeles Lakers, so far it seems. The Showtime are in grave danger of missing out on the playoffs, as they sit three and a half games adrift of top-8 and at 11th in the Western Conference.
It all seemed good and rosy for Lakers when they beat the mighty Golden State Warriors on Boxing Day. But Lebron injured his groin in that match and missed the subsequent 18 games, in which Lakers went 6-12. That period is proving to be catastrophic and the team has thus far failed to put together a decent run.
New Orleans Pelicans, on the other hand, are reeling at 12th with a 27-35 record so far in the division. And to make matter worse, they have put minute restrictions on superstar Anthony Davis in a bid to give the younger player a more chance to grow.
Regular Season Record-
Los Angeles Lakers: W-29, L-31
New Orleans Pelicans: W-27, L-35
Players to watch out for:
Los Angeles Lakers:
LeBron James – Arguably one of the best players of all time, LeBron James is once in a lifetime kind of player. No wonder, he is the best performing player for Los Angeles Lakers as well and is averaging 26.8 points per game. The four-time MVP is also leading the rebounds (8.8 per game) and assists (7.8 per game) for the Showtime.
Only one player ranks among the all-time top 10 in both scoring and assists: @KingJames.https://t.co/zjhR6Rsd9w

Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram – The team is young and inexperienced but two players who have managed to make a name for themselves are Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma.
Kuzma is Lakers’ 2nd best player this season and is averaging 19.1 points per game, while Ingram is in a very good form and has scored at 22.4 points per game in the last 10 matches.
New Orleans Pelicans:
Anthony Davis – Pelicans have put him under minutes restriction for the whole season, which is being seen as Pelicans’ reply to Anthony Davis’ desire to leave the franchise in the mid-season.
If he leaves Pelicans in the off-season, which is most likely, he will leave a too big a hole in New Orleans which the team may find hard to fill in time. For the season, the 25-year-old is racking up 27.6 points per game.
Jrue Holiday – At the moment, he is Pelicans’ best player. The 28-year-old is racking up points at 20.5 per game.

LAL vs NOP Dream11 Fantasy Team:
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Los Angeles Lakers are 17-12 in home games, while New Orleans Pelicans have won just 9 times out of 32 away games. Sure that doesn’t bode well with the away team and gives confidence to the hosts.
We are backing the Lakers to win the match.
