Lakers have now lost eight preseason matches in a row and last season, their preseason anxieties translated to a sub-par season. But, this is an overreaction at this point in what can be considered a slightly improved roster. Still, much will hinge upon Anthony Davis’ availability, Russell Westbrook’s fit and how the team’s middle spot will hold on. The Guard depth looks above-average but the team still looks bits and pieces outside of the big two of LeBron and Davis. Will Westbrook do enough to make it look like a “Big Three”.

Timberwolves: They have limitless potential

The Timberwolves look hard to beat this season. Adding Rudy Gobert gives the team strong rim-protection whereas the offense looks ridiculously jacked. D’Angelo can shoot from outside, Anthony can score from anywhere, Anthony-Towns can score from anywhere while Gobert can set tough screens and roll hard to the basket. The bench looks decent with Jaylen Nowell, Forbes, Anderson, and McDaniels but the Timberwolves will have a lot of work to do in the loaded League.
