LAL vs WAS Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Washington Wizards will look to snap their four-game losing streak when they host Los Angeles Lakers in an NBA match at Capital One Arena, in Washington DC, on Monday morning (IST).

Washington Wizards:

Washington Wizards dropped their fourth consecutive game on Saturday as they lost 125-118 against a rejuvenated Brooklyn Nets team who extended their winning streak to four games.

Nets racked up a blistering 70 points in the first two quarters and Wizards’ defence had no answer to the intensity shown by the hosts and fell behind by a massive 15 points after the 3rd quarter.

However, Wizards had some fight and pulled back the match to 108-104 with just 5:33 minutes to go in the regular time. But Brooklyn never fell behind, had at least a four points lead and ended the match with a 9-0 run to seal the game as Wizards were left red-faced once again.

The defeat in Brooklyn was chastening for Austin Rivers in particular who got the biggest shock after the match. As per the reports in the media, the 26-year-old has been traded to Phoenix Suns to bring Trevor Ariza back to the national capital.

The loss left Washington on 11th in the Eastern Conference and already three wins away from the playoff positions.

Los Angeles Lakers:

Los Angeles Lakers absolutely bamboozled Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina, beating them 128-100 and in the process equalled their best ever away record since their championship winning 2009-10 season.

The win was special in many more ways. Both LeBron James and Lonzo Ball dropped triple-doubles to improve their own stats, with the latter becoming only the third Lakers player after achieving a unique stat.

Lonzo Ball ended the match with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and five steals, and became the first Lakers’ player in 30 years after two legends Magic Johnson and Jerry West to record that type of numbers. The 21-year-old is primed for a big future and has already broken many records. Last season he became the youngest player ever to record a triple-double in an NBA match, breaking LeBron James’ record which he achieved with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Ball was 5 days younger when the achieved that feat.

While LeBron had a special night as well as he ended the match with triple-double as well, scoring a gme0high 24 points, 11 assists and 12 rebounds.
