HOU vs POR DREAM11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Houston Rockets host Portland Trail Blazers in an NBA match at the Toyota Center, Houston, Texas, on Wednesday morning.
Houston Rockets:
Houston Rockets will be aiming to snap their three-game losing streak against Portland Trail Balzers. And the size of the task at hand couldn’t have been so big had James Harden playing this match. But unfortunately, the reigning NBA MVP will be sidelined through a muscle injury he sustained in the 89-100 loss against Utah Jazz.
With 1-4 in the first five games, the Rockets are 2nd from the bottom in the Western Conference and if they end up losing this game, the last year’s Western conference runners-up may finish this round at the foot of the table.
Against Clippers, Houston’s defence looked thin in the absence of Harden. How poor Rockets were in the last game against the Lob City – they couldn’t win any quarter, let Clippers enjoyed their best offensive performance; surreal to think considering Tobias Harris and co. rank in the bottom third in offensive efficiency.
Certainly, Rockets will have to show some fight when James Harden isn’t around.
Portland Trail Blazers:
Portland Trail Blazers are 3-2 this season, sixth in Western Conference and tied with Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs.
In the last game, Miami Heat beat them 120-111 despite Damian Lillard making the mockery of sorts of the scoring charts as he scored a game-high 42 points in the match. This was also Blazers’ first loss on the road in the four games.
Heat were cruising along when they took a 19 point lead in the 3rd quarter. But Lillard’s’ another monster performance saw the visitors clawed their way back into the match and took a lead late in the 4th quarter. But it wasn’t enough to defeat the Heat (3-2), who rode the first-half defensive dominance of Hassan Whiteside, a turn-back-the-clock flurry from Dwyane Wade and several clutch late-game shots.
Regular Season Record-
Houston Rockets: W-1, L-4
Portland Trail Blazers: W-3, L-2
Players to watch out for:
Houston Rockets:
Chris Paul – James Harden’s shoes are too big to fill even for a talent like Chris Paul. But he can at least be a leader in the absence of Harden. The former Clippers Point-Guard found it tough in the last game, but he is too good a talent to misfire in two consecutive games.
Carmelo Anthony – The Oklahoma City Thunder misfit topped the scoring charts in the last match. He dropped 24 points against Clippers in the last match.
Portland Trail Blazers:
Damian Lillard – He is only behind Stephen Curry on the scoring charts. The 28-year-old is averaging 33.8 points-per-game and is fresh from dropping a magnificent 42 points against Miami Heat. If you are looking to double-up your points, he is the man to be the star player in your fantasy team.
CJ McCollum – The 27-year-old is Blazers’ 2nd most important player. He is also the 2nd on the points-table for Portland this season.
HOU vs POR DREAM11 TEAM NEWS:

HOU vs POR DREAM11 Fantasy Team:
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
With James Harden expected to miss this game due to a muscle injury, Houston Rockets are well short of the firepower they may need to match a high-scoring Portland Trail Blazers. There could turn out to be a home shock here.
We are backing the away team to win this game.
