HOU vs PHI Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Philadelphia 76ers will be looking for their first win in six games when they host Houston Rockets in an NBA match at Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia, in Philadelphia, on Tuesday morning (IST).
This is going to be a fascinating battle as Sixers welcome Rockets and hope to turn things around against one of the most in-form teams in NBA at the moment. This will be the second game running where Philadelphia face a big team from the Western Conference.
Last time around, Oklahoma City Thunder visited the city and ended up winning 117-115 at Wells Fargo Center. The start made a big difference as Paul George and Co. won the first quarter 33-25. The hosts cut the deficit to just three points after winning the next quarter 31-26 and went into the break in high spirits.
The visitors took control of proceedings in the third quarter by winning it 29-23 and extended their lead to 9 points going into the last quarter.
But Sixers didn’t give up, Joel Embiid was fouled outside the point and successfully converted his three free throws late in the fourth quarter. And then Jimmy Butler intercepted a pass intended towards Steve Adams. He ran and jumped for a layup, bringing his team to the edge of a victory.
But Sixers failed to mark one man who is absolutely erupting into a mammoth player for Thunder these days. Paul George buried a three-pointer and won the game for his team.
Houston Rockets, meanwhile, needed overtime to beat Los Angeles Lakers in their match. James Harden produced another breathtaking display, scoring 48 points in the match.
Regular Season Record-
Philadelphia 76ers: W-30, L-17
Houston Rockets: W-26, L-19
Players to watch out for:
Philadelphia 76ers:
Joel Embiid – He is phenomenal, an indispensable part of this talented Sixers squad. The 24-year-old Cameroonian is by far the Sixers’ best player, averaging 26.9 points per game. Many players have won MVP for these sorts of numbers, but he may be unlucky to play in an era of James Harden, LeBron James, and Stephen Curry, to name a few. Still, too talented not to win something.
Jimmy Butler – Sixers are a force now, not only in the East but they are a danger for any team in the NBA. The signing of Jimmy Butler could be that final piece of the jigsaw which completes them. He may be racking up 19.0 points per game, but his contribution goes beyond mere numbers. The former Minnesota Timberwolves guard scored 27 points in the last match against Indiana Pacers.
Houston Rockets:
James Harden – You just have to admire him and you follow NBA, then you must feel lucky that you are seeing the beard weaving its magic on the Basketball court. A player in the form of life, threatening to destroy every individual record that ever exists. The 29-year-old dropped another alien looking score, racking up 58 points against the Lakers, and still couldn’t save his team from the jaw of defeats. Poor Rockets!
Eric Gordon – He upped his game in the absence of his regular teammate Clint Capela, and he did well. The 30-year-old scored 20 points in the match and extended his average in the last 10 games to 20.5. The Indianapolis born star missed the last eight games with an injury but didn’t show any sign of rustiness in his game.
HOU vs PHI Dream11 TEAM NEWS:
Philadelphia 76ers:
Injured – The Sixers are still without Markelle Fultz (shoulder injury), Justin Patton (foot injury) and Zaire Smith (foot injury) for the home clash against Houston Rockets.
Questionable – None.
Suspended – None.
Houston Rockets:
Injured – The injury list is not easing on Houston Rockets at the moment. In fact, Clint Capela is the latest player to head into the treatment room. Behind only James Harden in the stats list, the 24-year-old is going to be a big miss for the Rockets.
Another big star who is not playing these days is Chris Paul as he continues to recover from the muscle injury, while Brandon Knight has been ruled out with a knee injury.
Carmelo Anthony’s future is up in the air once again as he seems to be frozen out by Mike D’Antoni.
Questionable – None at the moment.
Suspended – None.

HOU vs PHI Dream11 Fantasy Team:
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Philadelphia 76ers have had a very good season, as they sit fourth in the Eastern Conference with the sixth-best record across both the conferences. Now they are at home against Houston Rockets, a team led by the brilliance of one man, James Harden.
If Sixers stop him, Rockets may struggle big time. But that’s almost impossible these days as Mr. Beard continues to dazzle and is destroying teams single-handedly.
As a team, the 76ers are playing more as a collective unit. So a home win is our call.
