HOU vs MIL Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
This will be a fascinating battle as a rejuvenated Houston Rockets host the consistent and the highly talented Milwaukee Bucks in an NBA match at Toyota Center, in Houston, Texas, on Thursday morning (IST).
Houston Rockets:
Last season’s Western Conference beaten finalists Houston Rockets’ season is firmly back on the track after the team successfully managed to weather the inconsistency which threatened to derail the season.
The upturn in the form can be reasoned with many things. Such as the improved defensive performances, the rise of Clint Capela, and not to mention the incredibly outstanding James Harden who continues to baffle every Basketball fan and alike.
Though it would be unfair to single out the reigning NBA MVP for Rockets’ resurgence, it won’t be an exaggeration either. The 28-year-old is accumulating insane numbers this season, scripted a streak of five consecutive games where he dropped 40 or more points in each match.
Harden’s historic streak was ended by Portland Trail Blazers who also snapped Rockets’ own six-game winning run as they lost 110-101. Head coach Mike D’Antoni said in his post-match interview that perhaps his players were still hung on by the incredible overtime win over Golden State Warriors.
The Rockets, though, returned to winning ways with a routine 125-113 win over Denver Nuggets in the last game. At the moment, James Harden and Co. are 5th in the Western Conference table, their highest position this season.
Milwaukee Bucks:
Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped a game-high 30 points as Milwaukee Bucks won 114-102 against Utah Jazz. This was Bucks’ 8th win in the last 10 games and 10th in the last 12 matches. The Bucks remains at the top in the Eastern Conference table and possess the best winning percentage this season.
Jazz, however, won the first two quarters and had a four points lead going into the break. The third their quarter was more of a tussle as both the teams managed to stifle each other, with Bucks winning it by a single point, 25-24.
But Milwaukee upped the ante in the fourth quarter and pulled ahead, with Malcolm Brogdon playing a pivotal role in that period.
This was Bucks’ 11th straight win after losing the last game this season.
Regular Season Record-
Houston Rockets: W-18, L-21
Milwaukee Bucks: W-21, L-18
Players to watch out for:
Houston Rockets:
James Harden – His 40-point streak may have come to an end but the reigning NBA MVP is still racking up points for fun and remains the only player to average in the 30s this season. He scored a game-high 32 points and 14 assists in the last match against Denver Nuggets.
Clint Capela – The form of Clint Capela has alleviated the absence of injured Chris Paul to some extent. The 24-year-old is dropping 17.7 points per game this season.
Milwaukee Bucks:
Giannis Antetokounmpo – The Greek superstar is one of the most talented young Basketball player in the world. The 24-year-old is having the season of his life, single-handedly winning matches for his team. He is the biggest reason why Bucks are flying high in the table. For the power player in this game, it’s going to be a fascinating battle between him and James Harden.
Khris Middleton – He is playing the role of the perfect support cast. The Texas-born star is scoring points at 17.7 per game. He scored 14 points and also had 5 assist and 7 rebounds in the last game.
