HOU vs MIA DREAM11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Last season’s Western Conference leaders Houston Rockets will look to extend their winning streak when they host an in-form Miami Heat in an NBA match at AmericanAirlines Arena, in Miami, on Friday morning (IST).

Miami Heat:
Miami Heat suffered from the inevitable post-LeBron-James-era syndrome. And they remain very much the team in transition at the moment.

They played in four consecutive NBA finals, winning the ultimate prize twice in 2011-12 and 2012-13 season respectively while losing to Dallas Mavericks in 2010-11 and then to San Antonio Spurs in the 2013-14 season in what was LeBron’s last year in Miami as a Basketball player.

Miami did make the Eastern Conference semifinals again via their 6th place finish in the Eastern Conference. And went beyond the regular season last year, losing to Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of playoffs.

Still, the team is a long way away from commanding the same respect it used to when James was in the town. Now they are being seen only as good enough to hold on to the playoff positions.

However, this is proving to be one of the hardest campaigns for them. At the moment, Heat are 9th in the Eastern Conference with a 13-16 record. But the recent signs have shown a change in the fortunes of the team.

They faced one of the longest road-trip in NBA this season, played six to be precise, winning four times, with two of them coming against Los Angeles Clippers and New Orleans Pelicans.

Houston Rockets:
Last season’s Western Conference regular-season leaders Houston Rockets have surprised everybody. No, not in terms of their canny performances which should have been a predictable outcome but the uncanniness which has marred their season so far.

Rockets started the season with a 112-131 home loss against New Orleans Pelicans, and have suffered two four-game losing streaks already this season, while a three-game skid and other surprising results have been very much the highlight of their season so far.

Missing out on the playoff position would have been more than a disaster for Houston Rockets and even more a daunting scenario more James Harden who talent and never-give-up attitude deserve more than just the consolation of a top-8 finish.

Rockets have returned back to winning ways now or it seems. At the moment, they are on a  four-game winning streak, their 2nd best run this season and if they win this game, it will be their best winning streak this season.

Regular Season Record-
Miami Heat: W-13, L-16
Houston Rockets: W-15, L-14

Players to watch out for:
Miami Heat:
Josh Richardson – Scored a team-high 22 points in the last match and helped Heat to beat Pelicans. The 25-year-old remains Miami’s best player this season and is averaging 18.6 points per game.
Dwyane Wade – The three-time NBA champion has confirmed his retirement at the end of the current season. But still, despite suffering from injuries, the 36-year-old is racking up 3rd best numbers for Miami Heat this season. He can be a difference for his team on any given day.

Houston Rockets:
James Harden – The reigning NBA MVP is taking the command of his team in his own hands. He is dropping insane numbers at the moment and is the best player on current form. The 29-year-old remains the only player this season to average in the 30s and is also racking up 8.2 assists per game this season.
He is just too good at the moment and can’t be controlled by any defence.
Clint Capela – he is having one of the best seasons of his career. The 24-year-old Center is dropping the 2nd best numbers per game for Rockets, going for 17.2 points per game. He is also dropping 11.7 rebounds per game, the best for Houston this season.
