But that was it, and they never came close to the defending champions as a run of 13-4 where Klay Thompson scored the first eight stretched their lead to 13 points with just 8 minutes left in the game.

The home team had its own moment when they went on a 9-3 run to cut the lead to 103-96, but Thompson again stretched his muscles to score a 3 pointer to give his team a 10 point advantage.

Kevin Durant is once again proving to be the star for GSW as his postseason form continues to shine. The last year’s finals MVP scored an incredible 37 points to lead his team to a vital victory. While James Harden tried his best to win the game for his team as he racked up a match-high 41 points but couldn’t stop his teams from falling into the jaws of defeats.
