GSW vs UTA DREAM11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Utah Jazz host Golden State Warriors in an NBA match at the Scotiabank Arena, in Portland on Saturday.
Utah Jazz:
The Jazz opened their new NBA account with a fine 123-117 win over Sacramento Kings in the first game.
The game started with Kings surging ahead early on in the first quarter with a 25-9 run. But the struggling visitors improved and went on a 21-9 run of their own to cut the lead to just 4 points as the first quarter ended up on 34-30 score in favour of the hosts.
With the visitors riding high on the momentum, and Ricky Rubio’s struggle mitigated by the performance of the Jazz’s bench, Utah surged ahead in the 2nd quarter with a 38-21 score and a 13 point lead.
For Jazz, Alec Burks starred from the bench, converting all his 3-pointers and ended up playing his hand in more than 25 points in his 18 minutes on the floor.
Golden State Warriors:
The defending champions began their title defence with a 108-100 win over their rival Oklahoma City Thunder in the first match.
The game started with a pre-game title ceremony with all the Warriors players and the staff receiving 2018 NBA Championship Rings to honour their championship win last season.
With the Oracle Arena running high on emotions, Warriors looked unfazed as they made a sensational start to the game. Stephen Curry, in particular, looked way too sharp for the opponent with the ball in his hands, and his dancing feet almost always brought him to a vantage point as he scored 3-pointers at will. The Warriors closed down the first half with a 57-47 score.
But Paul George’s own moment of awakening saw Thunder started the 2nd half as a better team. The former Indiana Pacers man successfully converted his five second-half shots as the Thunder closed down the Warriors’ lead.
But the hosts had too many attacking aces up their sleeves and the Curry, Durant, Thompson all combined in the 4th quarter to make sure that the Dubs start their campaign with a win in front of their own fans.
Season Record-
Utah Jazz: W-1, L-0
Golden State Warriors: W-0, L-0
Players to watch out for:
Utah Jazz:
Donovan Mitchell – Only Utah Jazz player to average in 20s last season. Donovan Mitchell played a big hand in his team’s win over Kings in the last game as he scored a game-high 24 points in the game.
Rudy Gobert – Rudy had a good season last year. He averaged 13.5 points per game which was the 3rd best record for Utah in the 2017-18 campaign. While the first game against Sacramento Kings saw him scored 19 points and an incredible 15 rebounds.
Golden State Warriors –
Stephen Curry – The two-times NBA MVP is one of the true stars in Golden State Warriors team. He started the season with a bang as he led the scoring charts for Warriors against Oklahoma City Thunder in the first match. The 30-year-old scored a game-high 32 points and 9 assists while his 8 rebounds were the joint second best.
Kevin Durant – The man for all occasions and certainly a legend in the making. Kevin Durant has won the NBA finals MVP in the last two consecutive years. In the last game, he scored 27 points and had 6 assists and 8 rebounds as well.

GSW vs UTA DREAM11 Fantasy Team:
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Golden State Warriors are too strong for any opponent in the NBA and Utah Jazz are certainly one of the least fancied team in the competition.
A result other than the Dubs’ win should qualify as a big shock. And we are not David. The Goliath should win here.
