GSW vs PHX Dream11: THe NBA Regular season is going to be out soon and still, there is a lot to play for many squads as the Play-in tournament berths and the Playoffs seedings are at stake here. With still a lot to play for, many of the teams are bound to make an electric push and there is going to be a lot of intensity, serving as the curtain-raiser to what we can expect during the Postseason. And what better way to get a taste of that as the Golden State Warriors host the Phoenix Suns.
The Warriors have hit a wall after starting the season in a hot manner. During the second half of the season, the team has been a sub-50% win team and after having the most elite defense earlier in the season, they have lost their way completely. Not having Stephen Curry only curtails their chances further and defensive anchor Draymond Green hasn’t been the same after his return from the injury.
On the other hand, the Phoenix Suns have been the most dominating team in both halves of the season and they have set up a blueprint for success. Their high-standard lineup has made it so that the rest of the league is falling behind at this point. The growth of multiple players alongside a veteran backcourt has made the Phoenix Suns a glorious team that is on the verge of creating a dynasty.

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis
Phoenix: Completely decimating squads
The Suns leave no stones unturned on both ends of the floor. When Chris Paul arrived at the scene during the last season, the team took a big step and after making the NBA Finals, they have only looked better. One reason for the huge uptick in wins has been the evolution of Mikal Bridges from a defensively loaded slashing wing to someone who can even create his own shot at this point while being in the running for the Defensive Player of the Year honors.
The Guard tandem of Chris Paul and Devin Booker is a match made in heaven. Paul controls the playmaking duties whereas Booker can rack up points in a hurry with Paul as the closer. Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder, and Deandre Ayton make for a tough frontline where Ayton has been a huge factor on both ends while Crowder brings a lot of physicality to the plate. Back-up guard Cameron Payne has been a brilliant cover for injury to Paul or Booker and has made his mark. The Suns have all the tools to make a championship run.
Warriors: They have lost their way
The Warriors have managed to hold on to the third spot for quite a bit but the grip has only loosened with each week. The red-hot Mavericks are on their tail and with the trends, there is no doubt that they will be in play to snatch the spot away from the Warriors. A prospect that is not dire because the Warriors will have to match up against a fifth-seeded team but because it means that the Warriors have conceded a lot of games lately. They have fallen off on both ends of the floor.
It is surprising considering how much depth they have, with Poole and Thompson as two high-yielding scorers, Andrew Wiggins as a two-way wing, and a springy Jonathan Kuminga. Draymond Green’s defense and control of the ball haven’t been the same as it was before the injury and his long absence has hurt before and his current rust has only complicated matters for the Steve Kerr-coached team. It is difficult to see this squad making a deep Playoffs run unless something special happens to close the season and begin the first Round.
