GSW vs LAC Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
An opportunity missed and now Los Angeles Clippers find themselves on the brink of elimination. Not the sort of situation an NBA fan would call an aberration, or an unexpected result. But the opportunity was there still, for Clippers to make the mockery out of every pre-playoffs predictions.
For they won the game at the home of the NBA champions, on the sacred territory, to level the series 1-1. Then it was the simple case of emulating the performance, only if it was that simple. But the series moved to Staples Centre and you would expect Clippers to be more confident inside their own arena.
But the reigning champions were hurt and so did the thinkable, by winning the next two games in the series. Nothing unpredictable. The overfamiliarity of things.
Golden State Warriors were the outright favorites before the start of the series, in every possible manner. The NBA world would have trembled, or could still, if they don’t beat the Los Angeles clippers from here. From the 3-1 lead they have heading into the 5th game.
Warriors can’t lose from here. They just can’t. For they are too potent, experienced, and for the simple fact that Clippers don’t have a certain LeBron James, the man who condemned the Dubs to a 4-3 defeat in the 2016 NBA finals, that too when Steve Kerr’s men had a 3-1 lead.
Putting in the work.

But still, anything is possible. For there is a James Cahill and a Ronnie O’Sullivan residing inside us, waiting for the opportune moment. But the David rarely gets out of the self, the Goliath too formidable.
Clippers need every cue from every history books where the underdog won, against all the odds.
If that happens, it would eclipse even the Tiger Woods’ Masters win, or Rafael Nadal’s failure to win the 2019 French Open. This would just be a phenomenal collapse, a script for the Hollywood directors.
Regular Season Record-
Golden State Warriors: W-57, L-25
Los Angeles Clippers: W-48, L-34
Players to watch out for:
Golden State Warriors:
Stephen Curry – One of the best shooters the game has ever seen. A vital cog in Warriors’ wheel. Stephen Curry is an indispensable part of the Warriors’ roster. This is best highlighted by the fact that Curry leads the league in total plus-minus. To simplify it, the Warriors outscored their opponents by a huge 689 points when he was on the court. That’s some presence on the court.
On the scoring side, the two-time MVP is dropping a team-high 27.8 points per game this season.
Kevin Durant – The last two games showed why he is the reigning NBA finals MVP. Curry struggled in those games, but Kevin Durant stood up for the challenge, scoring a combined 71 points and won the games for Warriors. He has made five blocks in the post-season while making 7 steals as well.
Los Angeles Clippers:
Lou Williams – Only if he could have emulated the performance of his second game n this series, Clippers would have been in a far more decent position. Still, there is no denying that Lou Williams is one of the most underrated players in the NBA. But he is somebody who can win games almost single-handedly. This was quite evident in game 2 as he exploded for 36 points and 11 rebounds against Warriors. He leads both all the three charts from the bench this season.
The 32-year-old is averaging a career-high 20.3 points per game and has scored at 25.7 in the post-season.
Montrezl Harrell – The 2nd highest scorer for Clippers is Montrezl Harrell. Like Lou Williams, the 25-year-old power forward features from the bench. But his impact is there to see, as he scores heavily, making contribution in all the departments. He is averaging 19.0 points in the post-season.
GSW vs LAC Dream11 TEAM NEWS:
Golden State Warriors:
Injured – Warriors will be without the league’s big man DeMarcus Cousins who suffered a thigh injury in game-2 against Los Angeles Clippers. Though Andrew Bogut has so far managed to step up, Cousins’ productivity is irreplaceable. The former New Orleans Pelicans star joins Damian Jones (chest injury) on the sidelines.
Questionable – None at the moment.
Suspended – None.
Los Angeles Clippers:
Injured – No injury concerns.
Questionable – Healthy squad.
Suspended – None.
