The visitors, flying high on the broad and powerful wings of their superhero Lebron James, managed to hold off Warriors for much of the game in their own den as James had one of the best nights in any NBA finals series he played so far. The game was quite extraordinary as it featured 15 lead changes and 17 ties and went into the overtime to decide a winner.

But not before a brain-fade moment by J.R. Smith in the dying seconds. George Hill was given two free-throws, converting one to level the score 107 each and missed a golden opportunity to win the game for his team when his 2nd shot bounced off the hoop. Smith got the ball and decided to dribble the ball back, thinking his team had a lead. Then the Buzzer went off and everything is now a part of NBA history. Warriors scored 9 straight points in the overtime without getting any reply and ended up winning 124-114 in Game-1.

LeBron James scored a jaw-dropping 51 points in Game-1, just the sixth men in NBA history to score 50+ points in any NBA finals match, while it was his 8th such performance in playoffs this season where he scored 40 or more points, just the 2nd men after Jerry West to achieve this feat.

James definitely deserves to win this NBA championship this season, but do Cavaliers deserve it?

Andre Iguodala has been listed under game-time decision for the defending champions. His inclusion depends on a late fitness test.

Meanwhile, The Dubs are fretting over the fitness of Klay Thompson who is suffering from a high-ankle sprain. But the rumor suggests that he will play the Game-2.

Chris Boucher has been ruled out due to a persistent ankle injury.
